Everything you need to know before ordering
Answers to the most common questions about our polycarbonate greenhouses.
No concrete slab required. The arches anchor 13.8 in directly into the ground and the included 3.9 in steel base plate ensures stability. A concrete slab or footings remain an option if you prefer, especially in very windy areas.
Not at all. The greenhouse is designed to be set up by two people in 1 to 2 days, using common household tools and illustrated step-by-step instructions. Every part is pre-cut and labeled. Professional installation is also available if preferred.
Yes. The reinforced galvanized steel structure and twin-wall polycarbonate panels are built for tough conditions, rated up to 65 mph winds and 32 PSF of snow load, about 3 ft of snow. The arched or peaked roof naturally sheds snow and deflects wind, and the panels resist hail without cracking.
Yes. Twin-wall polycarbonate is 70% more impact-resistant than single-wall sheeting and far more durable than single plastic film. It will not crack, and is UV-coated and anti-yellowing to stay clear and strong for years, with about 85% light transmission and 99% of UV blocked.
Maintenance is minimal. The galvanized steel frame wipes clean with soapy water, and the polycarbonate panels rinse off easily. Rubber seals protect the panel channels from dust buildup.
Your greenhouse is delivered on a pallet, carefully packaged, within an estimated 4 to 6 weeks from your order. Delivery is free and fully insured to the 48 contiguous states, curbside by freight carrier. Tracking is included and our team is available for any questions about your delivery.
Yes. Every polycarbonate model is modular and can be extended at any time in 6.6 ft sections using the extension kit, up to about 98 ft of total length. Order the same panel thickness as your greenhouse so the profiles match.
